Protecting Barnstable's Finest

Osterville – 08/30/17 at approx. 1145pm Ptl. Jackson was sent to the intersection of Main St and Swift Ave. for a report of a man bloodied in the road who was possibly involved in an accident. Upon arrival Ptl. Jackson observed a vehicle on its roof and on fire down a 20ft embankment. During the investigation it was determined there was only one occupant of the vehicle and he had fled the area on foot.

Ptl. Jackson and Rookie K-9 Rokko, on the job less than a month, immediately began a track and located the subject on the ground in the median of Spice Lane. The subject was taken by med flight to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston for treatment. Great job by Rokko and everyone involved.
